Martin Dodge IEng AMIStructE
Martin is a Structural Engineer with 45 years’ experience in the construction industry, has worked both for consultants and contractors, giving an unusually wide insight into the construction process. He is not only an experienced designer but also has project-managed multi-disciplinary teams.
His experience covers a wide range of market sectors including home extensions, alterations and refurbishment, renovation, restoration, inspections and condition surveys, soil investigation, M&E support structures, schools, bio-science and technology, MoD, VOSA, NHS trust, local authority, retail, office, modular buildings, leisure, commercial residential and industrial developments utilizing skills in project management, design/build and design encompassing all major traditional building materials.
His experience from a balance of consultancy and structural steelwork sub-contracting offers a keen understanding of procurement, cost control, planning and construction contracts.
